I have been rebasing my 6mm Bacchus Napoleonics for Lassale 2. This will be my main "small spaces" game, as the 20mm Base Width permits a game on 48x72 cm table.

Since March 2020 I had no chance to play any face to face games due to the pandemic. Two weeks ago me and Nacho met outside at a local beer garden, and I taught him Federation Commander First Missions. This Saturday we met again, and played a full cruiser duel. It was good fun. I have to praise Federation Commander First Missions. It is a good introduction and demo for the game.
We had a good time, me commanding the Klingon D7, Nacho the Federation Cruiser. We both were aggressive and as a result we closed the distance quickly. We happily blasted each others ships, and by turn 3 both of us were crippled and agreed to retreat. The game played faster than I thought it would, and we had a good time. It is a brutal game, and in close range these ships deal great amounts of damage at each other. The default Fleet Scale of the quick-start rule worked well for an enjoyable two hour game. Highly recommended. The sub-pulse/impulse turn order takes some time to get used to it. This playlist of videos is a good explanation of the logic.
