Pentimento: A 40k Horror Story narrated by me.

 

Fourteenth Game in Atlanta: My Death Guard vs. a great new Ork player! A victory but a game well played!

 Today at Challenges Games and Comics I played a 1000 point one vs one incursion game with a new 40k player, Thom. Thom run a force heavy in Killa Kans and Stompa, while I ran my usual Plague Company (the last time as the new codex is coming). This was partly a learning game for Thom. We had a great game! Our two forces were well balanced, and while I won in Victory Points (25 to 15), both of us did a lot of damage to each other. Suprisingly enough, this time the Hellbrute survived the game to the very end, and even killed a lot of stuff! The other good news is that it is pretty clear my terrain set works for Incrusion maps!

Cowpens and Kings Mountain: Visiting two pocket National Battlefield Parks

 We visited Charlotte last week for my wife's paper presentation. After that on the drive back we visited two pocket battlefields, Cowpens and King's Mountain. Here are videos from both visits.
