Over the last two weeks I tried demo games for three games I want to try and did not before (or did not try the new edition). I got to try Alpha Strike, Kill Team 3rd Edition and Battlefleet Gothic Remastered. All three were fun and I will probably try to get at least a couple of games per semester for Kill Team and Alpha Strike, and per two months for BFG.

De Re Militaria
Mark Smylie gave me permission to share with you all the draft of my source book De Re Militaria, a collection of DBA army lists inspired by Mark's Known World Artesia setting. You can get it at my material for wargaming page or at this link DE RE MILITARIA. Enjoy, comments welcome.
New Audio-Book narration: Mark Smylie's Black Heart
Mark Smylie has kinldy gave me their blessing for a my amatuer audio narration of his second book Black Heart. This is set in one of my favorite setting the Know World of the Artesia Comics. You can get all the comics, plus other relevant publications at the Aegis and Gorgon Drivethru RPG store . His first novel, The Barrow, is here, and in an excellent profession audiobook version here. I decided to start working on a hobby audio narration of the second book, Black Heart. Let me be clear this is and will remain an amatuer effort. It will be slow going (the book is a nice big long book), and I will remove it on the happy day Black Heart gets picked up by a publisher. But until then enjoy
Here is the very start, Prologue the First, about a night of knives and death.

Project Finished: Tetarchy of Desolation Chaos Battlefleet Gothic Fleet
I finished my BFG Chaos project, for the Illustris War. Here is the Tetarchy of Desolation in all of its dark menace.
The last additions to the collection were a gift courtesy of Esrik, one of our Battletech players, who used to work for GW and had a large collection. He gifted it to me, and I apporpotioned it between interested players (for free). I did keep the Repulsive Grand Cruiser and three Iconclasts, and beyond some touch ups, kept his paint theme.
Painting Project Updates!
Since I am between semesters (the Spring and Summer), I had a chance to paint some more of the stuff I bought in May and June.
Here is my proxy Lord of Virulence, a free STL found at Cults3d
And here is my proxy Taurox-Prime, again a free STL found on Cults3d

Sixteenth game in Atlanta: Battltech Affordable Atrocities Campaign
I played my Sixteenth game in Atlanta last weekend, another round of the Affordable Atrocities Classic Battletech Campaign that is hosted by teh Georgia Battletech Group. My charcter survived once more, through my Wolverine had some scary encounters with a AC-20 and lost a hand. But we won and handily at that!
