During this weekend Challenges Games and Comics organizes the Atlanta Sci-Fi and Fantasy Expo (they do this annually). I got together with three other players to play another game of Multiplayer 40k (Incursion level). I run my 1000point Fly Blown Host Detachement of the Decayed Triad. My Deamon Prince Navigator Athalika blessed the gathering taking the field as well with her Nurglings. We played a free for all game where I contested the maps against a fromce each of Tyranids, Dark Angels, and Kroot.
We started at 14:00 and had to call it off at 18:30 playing three full turns in four and half hours. I generally had fun and Victory Points wise the game was competetive when we ended, but it did make me thing about a diffrent turn sequence to cut down on the dead time for non-active players. While there was a bit of the 2vs 2 dynamic, our special VP bonus to players who destory and make half strength at least one unit from each enemy army did foster some aggressiveness. That said I am vetting a semi-alternating activations trun sequence with other players. just for multiplayer games. Once it is vetted I will post it here.
